ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Here are just a few examples of how MN is committed to sustainability:

• MN millworking shop and offices went completely solar powered in July of 2008

• One of the first shops on the West Coast to be FSC certified, back in 1996

• Extensive use of green materials in cabinets and construction projects, since 1992

• Creation of low-income furniture line, EcoDura, in 1999, built with green materials

• Construction of new, green house, Oakland – 2006

• Re-lamping of cabinet shop and offices to high-performance fluorescent

• 'De-construction' on new jobsites – re-using materials whenever possible

• Trash separation and recycling on all jobs and in the office

• Extensive use of paperless office and jobsites

• Donation of plywood scraps, wood waste to local schools and colleges

• No mark up to install solar panels.

• Encourage our clients to make green choices such as energy efficient appliances, toilets and windows
