Architect Cirque Architecture

Working with MN: We are thrilled to partner with Mueller Nicholls, in a true collaborative process. The Mueller Nicholls integrated services approach allows our team to combine resources to provide thoughtful, and sometimes unexpected, resolutions for our clients.

Philosophy: Jason Dries Daffner—Cirque Architecture specializes in the design of custom residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Established in 2003, we have a growing portfolio of work that ranges from San Diego to Napa Valley. The process we have developed is tailored to quality, innovation and the success of our clients, and is not limited to one particular project type or style.

Architect Malcolm Davis Architecture

Working with MN: Mueller Nicholls is very team oriented, working effectively with both clients and architects. They are able to offer clear proposals and follow through with high quality craftsmanship. We look forward to collaborating on many more projects with them in the future.

Philosophy: Our firm employs a collaborative, hands-on design approach, where we work with the client and contractor to achieve a unique design solution with modern design principles. Using straightforward materials and maximizing natural light, our work is carefully and innovatively detailed.

Architect ChaseDiengott Architecture

Working with MN: Starting as a team from the inception of a project goes back to our basic philosophy of the design process as a collaboration. With Mueller Nicholls they work to preserve the design integrity throughout the construction process. They bring a high level of technical knowledge and a friendly open minded attitude that guarantees our clients an outstanding product.

Philosophy: Laura Chase and Joan Diengott—We view architecture as a collaborative process. Our ideas are woven together with those of the client. Our design solutions, like those of the earlier California regionalists, emphasize livability, harmony with nature and a straightforward approach to design. In the simple forms and innovative use of materials, we look to enhance one’s sense of space.

We see each project as an opportunity to solve problems about how we live, work and play all under one roof.

Architect Aleck Wilson Architects

Working with MN: AWA enjoys working with Mueller Nicholls because of their great collaborative attitude, and their broad based approach to construction. This stems from their ability to bring their cabinet making skills and their design sensibilities to augment their construction expertise. This aids in the continual development of the design process into the details of construction.

Philosophy:AWA is an architectural firm that specializes in custom residential projects, that emphasizes spatial and contextual relationships, rather than a particular style. Each project is approached with an open perspective, and often results in diverse schematic studies.

Designer Randall Whitehead

Working with MN: The Mueller Nicholls team is very collaborative. They see the value in sharing ideas to come up with design solutions that are both well integrated into the over look of a project and absolutely effective. They are wonderfully intuitive and have a strong work ethic which lends itself beautifully to both remodel and new construction projects.

Philosophy: Randall Whitehead is a lighting consultant who specializes in residential interiors and landscaping. Randall has written 7 books on lighting and is a frequent guest expert on HGTV, the Discovery Channel, CNN and Martha Stewart Living Radio. His company believes in the idea of light layering, using different sources of illumination to create comfortable and flexible living spaces.

Designer John Wheatman and Associates

Working with MN: When we recommend Mueller Nicholls we tell our clients that they [MN] are great at reading and executing our blueprints—they are very thorough. Overall Mueller Nicholls is so professional in dealing with clients and always follow through.

Philosophy: John Wheatman has had one of San Francisco’s leading design firms for more than 35 years. His design principles are based on the philosophy that a living space should be functional, comfortable, and life-enriching.
