We worked with the very talented Denise Hall Montgomery Architecture to transform this aging Berkeley home into a stylish space for a family of four. The back half of the main level was transformed from a rabbit warren of cluttered spaces into a cohesive, light-filled and useful combination of kitchen, office, family room and deck, while preserving the original character of the adjoining dining room and entry. The master bathroom is a serene, understated space made possible by the use of natural lime plaster throughout.
