Geometry and Physics Collide
This stately, early 1900’s home received a small cantilevered addition, opening up the master suite to spectacular bay views.
The entire team (architect, engineer, homeowners, and MN Builders) worked around many different restrictions to come up a space that looks as if it was always meant to be. The real feather in the cap on this project is the cantilevered octagonal bathing space, complete with an octagonal pyramid skylight. The bathroom opens onto a hexagonal deck (also cantilevered).
